What are Integrated Treatments?

Many Therapists offer integrated treatments. While they differ for each practitioner, generally speaking they are treatments that combine different therapeutic techniques in order to give you a unique healing experience.

So… what is my Integrated Treatment?

I absolutely love my Integrated Treatments. They are hands down my favorite offering. They are 100% intuitively guided, and are a mix of body work and energy work. I incorporate healing stones attuned to each major Chakra, essential oil blends, guidance cards (I’m currently using two sets: Soul’s Journey cards and Angel guidance cards). I’ve also been known to add in hot stones, a wrap, or reflexology.

These Chakra stones were purchased in Glastonbury, UK in 2017. I love working with them, and find they are helpful in balancing the Chakras during energy work.

Each session is different, and depends greatly on what you need most in the moment. Some people get more body work than energy work. Sometimes I spend 30 minutes on one Chakra. I never know what I’m going to do when I enter the room, and it’s always an adventure.

Prior to our session, I’ll sit down with you and have a conversation about what is going on with you physically, emotionally, mentally; what is bothering you and what are you working on. It helps me get a better of idea of where I should start and how things might go. You are welcome to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

Because I am usually doing a great deal of energy work, I’ll often get flashes or messages. I hold off sharing those until after the session when we can have a debriefing. I can share with you as much or as little as you like. Some people prefer to keep their inner worlds and inner work private.

Why do I offer these treatments?

Therapeutic massage is my “bread and butter,” but sometimes it’s not enough. Sometimes you can do all the deep tissue in the world on a certain spot, but until the reason behind the holding is addressed, the muscle will never release. And sometimes, it takes a lot of inner work to figure out what that is. It can be difficult and uncomfortable. These treatments make it less so.

These treatments are a way to go deeper into the practice of healing in a safe, nurturing environment. It gently coaxes out the things that are no longer serving you, in a way that allows you to acknowledge and release them. It brings to the foreground things you may need to face in order to move forward, and sometimes makes you confront truths you may have been avoiding.

These treatments are not for everybody, and that’s okay. You have to be ready for this kind of work, and be actively seeking it out. These treatments are truly a journey inward, and such things take practice and a bit of openness.

When you’re ready to deepen your healing journey, these Integrated Treatments will be ready and waiting for you.
